🥔🔥 ¡We celebrated the Cusco festivities with a traditional *Huatiada*! 🔥🥔
At Cusco Christian School, we enjoyed a wonderful day of community and learning, where our students discovered and experienced one of our region's most iconic traditions: the *huatiada*. 💛🏔️
Through this experience, we strengthen our love for our culture, our customs, and the precious legacy that defines us as people of Cusco. 🌿✨

I came to Peru thinking I was just helping build a school.

But moments like this remind me it’s bigger than one classroom.

This week, I had the chance to teach and encourage teachers here in Cusco — men and women who are shaping the next generation every single day.

As a former teacher and school administrator, I know how heavy the work can feel. But I also know the impact one equipped, encouraged, and supported teacher can have on a child’s life.

We’re not just building a school in Peru.

We’re investing in teachers, families, and a generation of students who deserve access to excellent, Christ-centered education.
