Tulane University is hiring a Professor of Practice to teach courses in Recording Engineering and manage a newly built studio space. The position will be shared between the Newcomb Department of Music and the Digital Media Practices (DMP) program within the School of Liberal Arts (SLA).
We are seeking a candidate who is both a practitioner in the field of audio engineering and a teacher capable of introducing college students to the many facets of sound, including recording, design, multi-channel mixing, spatial audio, ADR, foley, and video podcasting. The position has a start date of July 1, 2027, and is contracted as a standard 9-month appointment.
