We host a summer and winter wilderness day at our residency program - embracing the science behind education, movement, and experiential learning! Today we covered wilderness/prehospital topics such as wound care, MCI triage, lightening injuries, heat illness, diving & altitude complications, venous animals, poisonous plants, and search & rescue ops. Thank you Hickory Corners Fire Department for leading the SAR station!

Congratulations to Jacob Lenning, MD, who is the newest member of the WMed Emergency Medicine faculty to get their FACEP recognition! π₯³
FACEP is "Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians", which is a professional honor designated to EM physicians who are a board-certified ACEP member for 3+ continuous years and have shown service, leadership, and education in EM.
This goes to show the quality of educators we have in our EM program!
