This summer, **Men of Purpose BH** is launching a transformative curriculum designed to equip young men with the tools they need to lead, earn, and excel. We aren't just teaching skills; we’re building character.
Our summer program focuses on three core pillars:
* **Hands-On Trade Skills:** Mastering the fundamentals of essential trades to build a foundation of self-reliance and technical expertise.
* **The Tech of Logistics:** In partnership with **D&G Dispatch**, we are diving into the high-demand world of dispatching. Participants will learn the technological side of the trucking industry and how to navigate the modern logistics landscape.
* **Identity & Character Development:** Skills get you the job, but character keeps you there. Our intensive mentoring focuses on identity development, helping young men define who they are and who they want to become.

Serviced of West Michigan is looking for a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and surrounding areas. We're dedicated to providing top-notch appliance repair and maintenance with exceptional customer service. If you're a problem-solver with a knack for mechanics and a commitment to quality work, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair various residential appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and microwaves.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal appliance performance.
Clearly explain issues and solutions to customers, providing excellent service.
Complete accurate service reports and manage truck stock.
Adhere to all safety regulations and stay updated on new appliance technologies.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in Appliance repair preferable
Strong mechanical & troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is ideal.
EPA certification is desirable.
Self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
