Abstract Collage is a captivating art form that combines various materials, textures, and colors to create visually striking compositions.

This is a fun, creative experience using your own Painted Papers from Patricia’s class, purchased paper from the art store, tissue paper, old book pages, sheet music, junk mail, etc.

We will be gluing pieces of paper to a base so you will need 140 lb watercolor paper, (tablets are fine), or canvas boards or cradled wood panels.

Easter Cookie Decorating Class with Jessica Nava of Dulze Pastries

Join us for a fun and creative cookie decorating class and learn how to make beautiful Easter-themed sugar cookies using Royal Icing.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the essentials of working with Royal Icing, including how to achieve the right consistencies for flooding and piping. We’ll also explore decorating techniques such as transfers, wet-on-wet designs, tipless florals, and puffy leaves while creating six charming cookie designs.

Bring the colors and beauty of spring to life with buttercream! In this hands-on class, you’ll create a 7-cupcake bouquet and learn to pipe stunning flowers including: roses, mini roses with buds, hydrangeas, and peonies.

You’ll also learn how to prepare the perfect buttercream and craft each petal with confidence. No prior experience is needed, and all materials and tools are provided.

Class size is limited to six students to ensure everyone receives hands-on guidance while learning piping bag techniques and decorating skills. Each attendee will leave with a gorgeous cupcake bouquet to enjoy or share.

Join instructor Fernando Porras for a two-day intensive workshop designed to help artists move beyond rigid drawing methods and develop a more natural, expressive approach to drawing.

Students will explore how to shift between technical structure and intuitive observation—learning when to rely on foundational drawing knowledge such as proportion and structure, and when to allow looser, more expressive lines to emerge.

Through demonstrations and guided exercises, Fernando will lead participants from basic to more advanced drawing techniques while helping students better understand how experienced artists truly “see” their subjects. By bridging the gap between technical scaffolding and expressive mark-making, artists of all skill levels will gain practical tools to simplify their process and create drawings that feel both accurate and alive.
