I’m happy to be home from my gorgeous Portugal trip and see my hubby. I met Maurisa McKillop, Paddy McKillop and the kids in Algarve and then I traveled to Lisbon by myself and explored the beautiful sights. It’s really the first solo vacation I’ve taken since I started traveling.After college I wanted to travel but wasted time waiting for friends to come with me that weren’t as interested as I was. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Time is precious ⏰don’t waste it waiting for others. Put away your fear and do it alone. Sure it’s great to go with a friend but there is great liberation in flying solo. You can do what you want when you want to.

Don’t be afraid! You will meet interesting and nice people with similar interests and budgets, along the way to keep you company. The world is a beautiful place don’t miss out because you are waiting around for someone to come with you. 🌎🛩️🏨

And for teaching me to love myself enough to let go of those who are no longer aligned with me

To abandonment
Thank you for teaching me to show up for myself fully
When others fail to show up for me

To pain
Thank you for giving me space
To feel my feelings non-judgementally
And heal and mend from what has hurt me

And to myself
Thank you for being strong enough to honour these experiences
And allow them to empower you
To heal, grow, evolve, transform
And become all that you are capable of being.

Sit in quiet with yourself and discover who you are and what you want in your life.

Once you know then you live making decisions, and taking actions that will take you to the success and happiness you desire.

No need to convince and explain yourself to others. Just be you, let others be who they are, and stop explaining yourself and causing life to be complicated.
