Great things can be accomplished with our community support!

🌱🥗 From Classroom to Cafeteria! 🥗🌱

The Jourdanton High School Greenhouse Management class has been hard at work growing fresh lettuce right here on campus! Using equipment made possible through a generous grant from the Jourdanton Education Foundation, students planted, maintained, and harvested their own crop as part of their hands-on learning experience.

Even better — that lettuce is now being used in our school cafeteria to make fresh salads for our students!

This is a great example of real-world learning in action, where students are gaining valuable skills while giving back to their school community.

Thank you to the Jourdanton Education Foundation for supporting our students and helping make opportunities like this possible!
