💙 The Inspire Impact: Maya 💙

At Inspire Autism Foundation, every student’s journey matters. Today, we’re honored to share Maya’s story in her parent’s own words.

“Since Maya has started, we have seen so much improvement in her. We have noticed that she uses her words more to communicate her needs. She’s wearing shoes now and putting them on herself! That alone is one of the biggest accomplishments. She has also started potty training and is doing so well.

I’m so beyond thankful for Inspire Autism Foundation. If we didn’t have a place like this, my child would be in a public school sitting in a room, not learning or growing in the ways she needs. To any parent who is struggling with the decision between public school and a homeschool-based program, it’s worth it.

The small milestones are huge celebrations for us. The staff is very caring and invested in my child’s future, and it shows in the progress Maya has made. They send pictures throughout the day to ease any parent’s mind, they constantly ask questions, and they keep me informed. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my girl.” 💙🩵

The Inspire Impact

Every milestone matters. Every step forward deserves to be celebrated. Maya’s story is a reminder that with individualized support, encouragement, and a caring community, children can build confidence, gain independence, and achieve incredible things.

We are so thankful to Here We Crumb for coming to Inspire Autism Foundation to spend time with our students! 💙

She taught them how to decorate cookies, crumb coat cakes, and every student had the opportunity to learn, create, and build confidence along the way.

Activities like these are about so much more than baking. They help our students practice important life skills such as:

🧁 Following multi-step directions
🧁 Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
🧁 Patience and attention to detail
🧁 Creativity and self-expression
🧁 Communication and asking for help
🧁 Building confidence by learning a new skill

These hands-on experiences give our students meaningful opportunities to grow while having so much fun. Seeing the smiles on their faces and the pride they took in their work was the sweetest part of the day!

Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and heart with our students. We are so grateful for community members who invest in them and help make learning come alive. ❤️

🍑🫐 Sweet Success at Inspire! 🫐🍑

Our students took on a delicious life skills project by making peach and blueberry cobbler from start to finish!

They worked together to create the shopping list, shop for ingredients, prepare the recipe, bake the cobbler, and clean up afterward. Along the way, they practiced important real world skills like planning, decision making, teamwork, following directions, kitchen safety, and responsibility.

Life skills learning doesn’t always happen at a desk. Sometimes it happens in the grocery store, in the kitchen, and around the table sharing something you’ve worked hard to create.

We are so proud of our students for their hard work, independence, and willingness to try new things. And of course, the cobbler was pretty amazing too! 💙

💙 The Inspire Impact: Lucas 💙

At Inspire Autism Foundation, every student’s journey matters. Today, we’re honored to share Lucas’s story in his parent’s own words.

“After only being there for 2 months, Inspire Autism Foundation has been such a blessing for Lucas and our family. He adores going to school in the mornings, which is new! In every picture and video we are sent of him learning and playing, he always has a huge smile on his face.

We are so happy to see he is in a place where everyone loves him as much as we do. Before, I would worry about him during the day. I could tell he wasn’t happy. I was terrified we wouldn’t find somewhere he could belong, be safe, and be supported as he should be.

I believe that this school is going to change Lucas’s life because he is already blossoming so much. I can’t imagine where we would be without his wonderful teachers. I can’t thank them enough.”

When students feel safe, supported, and genuinely valued, incredible growth can happen. Lucas’s journey is a beautiful reminder of the difference that acceptance, encouragement, and community can make in a child’s life.

🌽🍓 A Wonderful Morning at the Farmers Market! 🌻🧺

This week our students had the opportunity to visit the local farmers market, and it was such a fun and meaningful experience! From exploring fresh fruits and vegetables to meeting local vendors and taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells, our kids enjoyed learning through real-world experiences.

Community outings like these help build communication, social, and life skills while creating lasting memories—and there were plenty of smiles along the way! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed our group (Whitton Farms) and helped make today such a positive experience. We love being part of a community that supports and encourages our amazing kids!
