🇺🇸 Remembering September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, service members, and countless individuals who stepped forward to help others during one of our nation’s darkest days.

We remember the families who lost loved ones, the heroes who answered the call, and the spirit of unity and compassion that brought communities together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Mrs. Tonya and Miss Abby’s UHE Pre-K class put their five senses to work exploring pickles, pretzels, and cotton candy! 👀👂👃✋👅 They touched, smelled, listened to, licked, and tasted each food while deciding whether it was soft or hard. They also made predictions about whether each treat would taste sweet, sour, or salty! 🥒🥨🍭

👃✨ Mrs. Tonya and Ms. Abby’s UHE Pre-K students are exploring their five senses! Today, they put their sense of smell to the test with coffee grounds, eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, and a blend called “Joy.”

Students had fun guessing each scent—several thought the peppermint smelled like toothpaste and the lavender smelled like lotion! 💛🖤

Mrs. Grimes and Mrs. Tovar’s UHE Pre-K kiddos are learning all about the letter Dd! 🍩 Their donuts mysteriously disappeared, but thankfully, Officer Kendra was on the case and found them! 👮‍♀️🔍 What a delicious way to learn the letter D! ✨

We honor and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers everywhere. From our dedicated educators and staff to the families and community members who work tirelessly each day, thank you for all that you do!

We hope our Raider family enjoys a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day! 💛🖤

Pickle Investigation in Pre-K! ✨🥒 Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Reatha’s UHE Pre-K friends put their 5 senses to work today as they explored and described pickles! From how they look and smell to how they feel, sound, and taste, these little scientists had so much fun learning through their senses! 💚🔍

Mrs. Tonya and Mrs. Abby’s UHE Pre-K class has been learning all about their bodies! Today, they used yummy snacks to build their very own person—and of course, the best part was getting to eat their creations when they were finished! 🍪🥨🧀

Learning is so much fun in Pre-K! 🖤💛
