Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and hope. Observed annually on June 19, Juneteenth serves as an opportunity to reflect on our nation's history, honor the contributions of African Americans, and continue striving toward a future built on understanding, equality, and opportunity for all.

At Nettleton Public Schools, we believe that learning from our past helps us build a stronger future. Today, we celebrate the values of freedom, unity, and respect that bring communities together.

Nettleton is once again stepping up this summer to make sure no child goes hungry.

The district’s summer feeding program officially begins Monday, June 1, and will provide free meals to anyone 18 years old or younger at two locations.

No registration is required, and students do not have to attend NPS to participate.

We’re down to our final week of school, and we have some important dates coming up!

🗓️ No School on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.
🎓 The Last Day of Pre-K will be Thursday, May 28th!

We’re looking forward to one more fun-filled week of learning, memories, and celebrations with our students before summer begins! ☀️❤️
