We are so excited to welcome this group of students into EAST for the upcoming school year!

Last week we went to the Little Rock Zoo to present to the staff and deliver our projects that we have been working so hard on all year! We are so proud of our students and how hard they worked and their dedication from start to finish.

A huge thank you to the Little Rock Zoo for allowing our students the opportunity to create something meaningful that will make a difference!

We also want to say a huge thank you to Michael Alexander from The Garage at Arkansas State University for all of his support and guidance with this project. He has helped us all year and we are so grateful!

Today we get to celebrate our awesome School Lunch Heroes!

Thank you for the early mornings and the care you all put into every meal you serve. We are so grateful for each of you and the difference you make in our school.

We are so glad that you all are a part of the heartbeat family!

It’s State Testing Week! 📚✏️

We are so proud of all of our students and the hard work they’ve put in this year. This is their time to shine and show what they know!

A special shoutout to our 4th grade EAST students who used their creativity to make and draw encouraging posters for everyone testing! Their messages are a great reminder that we’re all in this together and cheering each other on!

We had the best time at Touch a Truck this afternoon!

We are so thankful for our partnership with The Garage and Michael Alexander at Arkansas State University the past two years!

Jax, Maycen, and Karsyn have been working on a project called House Buddies in collaboration with Mrs. Clements, one of our interventionists.

These scholars have designed and 3D printed our school’s house mascots to support students with dyslexia.

These “House Buddies” serve a dual purpose. Students can read aloud to them as a friendly, low pressure audience or use them as a fidget tool to help improve focus while reading. Way to go guys!

Last week, Clarke and Kinsley had the opportunity to attend an EAST training in Walnut Ridge, and they came back full of new ideas!

During the training, they explored creative design strategies, learned ways to bring their ideas to life, and collaborated with other students. 💡

Our students are watching history unfold as Artemis makes its journey to the moon!

Learning doesn’t stop! They are working while witnessing something they will never forget.
