Today, I’m praying for every school leader, administrator, director, and person responsible for making decisions that affect our children and staff.

Leadership is not always easy. Sometimes you have to make decisions people may not understand. Sometimes you carry concerns you cannot share. Sometimes you are expected to have the answer while you are still praying for direction yourself.

My prayer today is that our leaders will not lead from pressure, pride, fear, or frustration. I pray they will lead with wisdom, fairness, compassion, and integrity. May they listen before they respond, think before they decide, and always remember that people are connected to every policy and every decision.

Prayer:
Father, I pray for every leader serving in education. Give them wisdom that goes beyond their own understanding. Help them make decisions that protect students, support teachers, strengthen families, and create healthy learning environments. Keep them humble, focused, and sensitive to the needs of the people they serve. When they feel overwhelmed, remind them that they do not have to carry the responsibility alone. Lead them, guide them, and order every step. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today I am praying for the strength of every teacher and educator who has stepped into this 2026-2027 school year to serve. Teaching requires more than just presenting your planned lessons. It requires patience, wisdom, flexibility, compassion and the ability to keep showing up even when things seem challenging.
To every teacher please know the work you do is very important and you matter. Your words can build confidence, your patience can create safety, and your encouragement can make a child feel like they can conquer the world.
As routines are are established and your classrooms begin to settle may God renew your strength daily and give you wisdom to assist every child placed in your care!
Prayer: Lord strengthen our teachers and educators. Give them wisdom and renew their minds for this work daily. Remind them every seed planted today will transform a student for the future. Amen.

Today marks a new beginning for many students, families, teachers, and school leaders across Georgia.

As the first bell rings, we are beginning this school year with prayer. We are committing every classroom, assignment, decision, relationship, and opportunity to God.

Students, walk into this year knowing that you are capable, covered, and prepared to grow. Teachers, may you have wisdom, patience, and renewed strength. Parents, may you have peace as you release your children into a new season. Leaders and staff, may God guide every decision and establish the work of your hands.

This is more than the first day of school. It is the beginning of new opportunities, fresh relationships, greater discipline, and meaningful progress.

Prayer:
Lord, we commit this school year to You. Lead our steps and bless this new beginning. Protect every student, teacher, staff member, parent, and school leader. Calm anxious hearts, provide wisdom for every decision, and create safe environments where students can learn and thrive. Let this year be marked by growth, excellence, peace, and purpose. In Jesus’ name, amen.
