It was a beautiful morning of collaboration and partnership at . It was an honor to be joined by my friends & partners at Nationwide Children's Hospital, United Way of Central Ohio, Future Ready Five, and Columbus City Schools. There is so much GOOD happening in Central, Ohio, and we all deserve support and the space to tell our stories. This is the first step in something new...stay tuned! So proud to support Highlights for Children in their launch of the (FREE!) Be Internet Awesome kit. This collaboration between Google and Highlights for Children is timely and is aligned to the Ohio Technology Standards for grades 2-5. Kits will begin shipping in early October and are perfect for classrooms, after-school programs, libraries, clubs, and all others that support our youth. If you are in Ohio and interested in obtaining a kit(s) for your school, district, or program, please let me know, and I'll pass along more information, including how to order.

When I stepped away from leadership to start Inspired Education Consulting, one of my goals was to be published within the first year. I'm proud to say that I achieved my goal! I am honored to have been approached by Scholastic to create a guide on utilizing Text Sets in the classroom. It was a thrill and a challenge, and I found the writing and editing process to be a journey that I would like to repeat in the near future. Here's to new challenges and adventures!
