Last week, We went to FFA State Convention! We started our day bright and early at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast at Cracker Barrel, generously paid for by Banterra Bank—thank you for your support!
After that, we made our way to the convention where we attended a workshop focused on communication. We then joined a session with over 8,000 people in attendance and heard from an inspiring keynote speaker, a National FFA Officer from Nebraska, who encouraged everyone to speak up, use their voice, and embrace being uniquely themselves.
It was also exciting to watch so many individuals receive their state awards and degrees. On the way home, we stopped at Steak ‘n Shake for dinner and made it back to the school around 8:00 p.m. To top it all off, we even spotted a beautiful rainbow on the drive home!
Overall, it was a great day full of learning, inspiration, and memorable moments.
