Our JV Jackets did an outstanding job this afternoon defeating Tattnall County 20-6. Behind a very strong showing for our young defensive players, and a phenomenal outing on the offensive side of the ball today. Great job Jackets!!!!

Wayne Memorial Names WCHS Varsity Football Players of the Week

Jesup, GA - PJ Brown, left, has been named the Wayne Memorial Hospital Defensive Player of the Week. He had several tackles and intercepted a pass late in the game to seal the victory. AJ Bennett, right, was selected as the Offensive Player of the Week. He threw two touchdown passes and led the team in rushing. The Wayne County Yellow Jackets beat Liberty County 24-21.

Wayne Memorial Hospital, whose mission is to provide high quality health care services to all patients, built a state-of-the-art facility in 2007. It is the third largest employer in Wayne County with 500 employees, 84 beds and is a three-time winner of the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals Small Hospital of the Year Award.
