PRO TIP: Don’t just take college counseling for granted! Ask SPECIFICALLY what a high school’s college counseling program involves. There are a lot of great programs out there like this one from SDA!
Hard work pays off.
This year, our junior class concluded their academic quarter one week early to participate in a 5 day intensive SAT Prep Program ahead of the June exam. Students worked closely with our Math and English faculty while also collaborating with our College Counselor on college applications, interview preparation, career assessments, and college planning tools.
The results were outstanding:
95% of participating students improved their SAT scores.
Top score increases included +230 and +220 points, with several students gaining between 150 and 200 points.
By dedicating a week to focused preparation, our juniors head into summer with stronger scores, increased confidence, and a meaningful head start on the college admissions process.
Congratulations to our scholar-leaders, faculty, and college counseling team on these incredible results!
