Tax Office Summer Hours start today.

M-T 7:30am - 3:00pm
Fri 7:30am - 12:00pm

The Office will be closed: May 25, 2026, June 19, 2026 and July 3, 2026.

Please note if a taxpayer cannot make it to the office during these times give us a call and we will arrange an appointment that is more agreeable to your schedule. Thank you. Everyone have a fun and safe summer.

PLEASE NOTE: This affects all local and state online filing..... We will post updates as we receive them.

The Parish e-File Portal is currently not accepting returns for the January 2025, Tax Filing Period due to implementation of new filing requirements mandated per ACT 11 of the 2024 Third Extraordinary Session of the Louisiana Legislature. The following message has been posted on the Parish e-File website:



“Due to the implementation of the requirements of Act 11 of the 2024 Third Extraordinary Session of the Louisiana Legislature, [this site] is not yet able to accept sales tax returns with a statutory due date of Feb. 20, 2025. All necessary programming and testing are underway, and this site is scheduled to begin accepting returns for the January 2025, tax period on February 13, 2025. Additional updates will be provided as more information is available. Please access this website periodically for updated information.”

The tax office will be open normal hours Monday, January 27, 2025. Due to the weather issues All returns that were due on January 21st will not be counted late as long as they are filed online or postmarked by today January 24,2025. If you file online and incur penalties and interest please call our office starting Monday and we will credit your account.
