☀️ JHS Senior Sunrise 2026! ☀️

JHS Senior Sunrise was this past Friday, and these Seniors were READY for it!

These young men and women welcomed Friday morning with their classmates at Jerry Bennett Field and started the day with plenty of memories, smiles, and school spirit!

Another check on the list of all the special moments they’ll experience together during their Senior year!

Jefferson High School is celebrating 8 points of overall growth and an 84 — B rating! Every domain earned a B, with growth in School Progress, Closing the Gaps, and Student Achievement.

We are proud of our students, staff, families, and community! We are proud of where we are, but we are not finished

Today, our Jefferson High School teachers stepped outside the classroom and onto a bus to learn more about the community we serve. By seeing where our students live, we gained a deeper understanding of their experiences, backgrounds, and the strengths that make Jefferson special. We believe that strong relationships are the foundation of student success, and every mile traveled today was an investment in our students.

What an amazing Meet the Teacher Night!

Last night, the JHS hallways were once again filled with familiar faces, excited students, and just a little bit of those back-to-school nerves!

It was so wonderful to see our students back in the building, reconnecting with teachers and friends and getting ready for another great school year.

We are excited for what this year has in store and can’t wait to see our Bulldogs back in the halls!

Here’s to a fantastic 2026–2027 school year! Let’s raise the bar!

Our seniors are kicking off their final year in true Bulldog fashion—with a little creativity and a lot of color!

With the help of some amazing parents, our seniors have been hard at work transforming their parking spaces into one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Despite the Texas heat, they've shown incredible dedication, and the results are looking fantastic!

Here's to making senior year unforgettable, one painted parking spot at a time.

📢 SENIOR UPDATE!! 📢

Due to the extreme heat during the day, we've extended the times that seniors can come paint their parking spots!

🌅 Feel free to come early in the morning or later in the afternoon when temperatures are cooler. We also have a canopy available in the back if you need some extra shade while you work.

🚗 Before you start painting, please remember to:
✅ Stop by the high school office to pay for your parking spot.
✅ Pick up your parking spot form and guidelines.

We can't wait to see your creativity on display! Let's make the senior parking lot one to remember!
