Why are you Excited to begin working at Jarrettsville Elementary School?

"My name is Sherry Leggett and I have been a Paraeducator since 2019. I obtained an Associates Degree in the early 90’s and have worked with educating our youth since High School. I am excited to begin my journey at Jarrettsville Elementary by being part of the newly developed Pre-K program. I look forward to participating in the growth and development of youth. I plan to apply my educational knowledge along with helping students attain their own self worth and abilities in a safe and fun environment. I look forward to meeting new students, becoming a Kangaroo and making Jarrettsville my new home and community."

I have been working in the North Harford school district for close to 20 years, and I am so glad this opportunity is now extended to the Jarrettsville families in their home school. Today, former Jarrettsville Elementary School Students walked the JVES hallways one final time, this time as Graduating Seniors. Our current JVES students and staff cheered them on during the "JVES Grad Walk!" A HUGE Congratulations to all of our former graduating "Kangaroos!"
