Washington Elementary is proud to be recognized as a 2024-25 Wisconsin School of Recognition by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction! 🏆

Washington earned High Impact honors through the statewide program, which celebrates Title I schools for making meaningful gains in student achievement and growth while serving students and families facing economic challenges.

This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and families and the strong support of our school community. Congratulations to everyone who helped make it possible!

We want to send a BIG THANK YOU to Dollar General and their staff for their donation of school supplies! Last Friday, Chad and his team dropped off a package of school supplies for EACH Washington student and a BONUS bag for each staff member. His team brought the bags to Adams and Madison schools so the Washington staff could have them for their new spaces in time for today's learning. Thank you to all of our community members who have reached out to ask how they may help, and thank you to Dollar General for the extra love for our Washington staff and students!🖍️✏️📕✂️

Oh, what a beautiful day! We welcomed our students back to school this morning. Some students were dropped off directly at their new schools, while some rode the bus from Washington. Our students received a warm welcome at both Adams and Madison schools.

Our teachers spent last week getting teaching materials and new spaces ready for today. Learning picked right up where it left off.

Thanks to our staff, students, and families for your patience and flexibility!
