ওয়েস্ট সাইড ড্রাইভস স্কলারশিপ ম্যানহাটনের পশ্চিম দিকের স্বল্প আয়ের বাসিন্দাদের বিনামূল্যে ড্রাইভিং প্রশিক্ষণের সুযোগ দেয়। এই স্কলারশিপের আওতায় একটি ৫-ঘণ্টার প্রি-লাইসেন্সিং কোর্স, ১৫ ঘণ্টার ড্রাইভিং প্রশিক্ষণ এবং একটি রোড টেস্টের খরচ অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

West Side Drives Scholarship: Obtain Free Driving Lessons and Break into the Film and TV Industry
The West Side Drives Scholarship provides low-income residents of Manhattan’s west side with complimentary driving lessons. The scholarship encompasses the cost of a 5-hour Pre-Licensing Course, 15 hours of driving lessons, and a road test.
Important Dates:
Application Deadline: December 31, 2025
Successful scholarship recipients will be considered for the “Made in NY” PA Training Program’s January 2026 training cycle, commencing on January 12, 2026. (The “Made in NY” PA Training Program is a complimentary job-training program designed to prepare low-income New Yorkers for entry-level positions in film and television productions.)

Eligibility: Requirements:
Reside on the west side of Manhattan (residents of NYCHA’s Fulton, Elliott-Chelsea, Harborview Terrace, and Amsterdam Houses are strongly encouraged to apply)
Be underemployed, unemployed, or low-income
Hold a Learner’s Permit
Be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Be available for 15 hours of driving instruction
