Hey everyone, Dom here... birthday girl, to be exact! 🎉
This past Saturday was my mom's birthday, and today is mine. Every year we celebrate together with a birthday party at the studio, and this Saturday we're carrying on that tradition.
This photo is from last year's party -- Celia and I playing, while our studio was full of people creating, visiting, and enjoying this special space we've built. Looking back at the photos and videos is beautiful... but also incredibly hard. Everywhere you look, Kristina is moving through the studio, laughing, smiling, helping everyone. She was such a backbone of Terrapin.
When you lose someone, there are so many "firsts," and this will be our first birthday party without her. So, this year instead of making silly projects, we're celebrating differently.
Join us this Saturday from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM as we make as many Beads of Courage as we can. These handmade glass beads are given to children undergoing serious medical treatments, much like the journey we all watched Kristina face with such incredible strength.
