Happy Father's Day from Growing Roots Academy!

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who help children grow strong in character, confidence, wisdom, and faith.

Thank you for the love you give, the lessons you teach, the encouragement you offer, and the example you set each day. Your influence reaches far beyond today and helps shape the future of the children who look up to you.

We are grateful for all the men who plant seeds of kindness, responsibility, perseverance, and hope in the lives of our students.

One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is God's Word hidden in their hearts.
Long after a math lesson is forgotten or a worksheet is completed, the truth of Scripture remains.
When children memorize God's Word, they carry with them a source of wisdom, comfort, conviction, and hope that can guide them throughout their lives. In moments of fear, they can remember God's promises. In moments of temptation, they can recall His truth. In moments of uncertainty, they can lean on His faithfulness.

"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Psalm 119:11
At Growing Roots Academy, we believe education is about more than academics, it's about discipleship. We want our children to know the Lord, love His Word, and build a foundation that will sustain them long after they leave our classrooms.
Whether you're homeschooling full-time or partnering with a hybrid program like ours, never underestimate the power of intentionally pouring Scripture into your child's daily life. The verses they memorize today may become the truths they cling to tomorrow.

About Our Program
Growing Roots Academy is a homeschool hybrid program, not a traditional private school. Students attend on designated academy days while families remain actively involved in their children's education at home.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:

Loves working with young learners
Understands and supports the homeschool model
Is organized, dependable, and flexible
Communicates well with parents
Can foster creativity, curiosity, and a positive classroom culture
Important Employment Information

This position requires the teacher's full attention and active engagement with students throughout the school day. Applicants should have reliable childcare arrangements for any children not enrolled in the program, as employees may not bring additional children to work.

Homeschooling is a Joy… and a Calling
At Growing Roots Academy, we believe homeschooling is a beautiful gift, but we also know it isn’t always easy.

Some days are full of wonder, connection, and joy.
And some days feel hard, messy, and stretching.
Both can be true.
We fill the gaps with grace. Some days, lots of it. We call it “grace glue” around my house.

That’s why, at the core of what we do, is intentionality.
We have chosen our curriculum with great care, so that even on the hard days, there is structure, clarity, and purpose guiding each step.
•All About Reading
•All About Spelling
•Saxon Math
We chose these because they:
•Build strong, lasting foundations
•Provide consistency and routine
•Break learning into manageable, confidence-building steps

Help children truly understand, not just memorize
Routine becomes a steady rhythm.
Truth becomes the foundation.
And faith reminds us that we are never walking this journey alone.
“Train up a child in the way he should go…” Proverbs 22:6
We are here to support and walk alongside families as they grow deep roots…academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
