🏆 3rd Place State Championship Welder 🏆

🔥 Congratulations to Emmanuel Moreira for an outstanding performance at the TXHSWS State Championship at TSTC Abilene! Out of 725 student competitors, Emmanuel placed in the Top 20 on Day 1 and went on to earn 🥉 3rd Place in the Championship Round after successfully passing both AWS weld tests. 🛠️⚡

We are proud of his hard work and dedication representing Mr. Frith’s welding program at the state level! 👏🔥

Mrs. Hernandez’s BBQ teams, Smokin’ Racks and BBQ Royalty, represented us well at the State BBQ Championship! We are so proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and talent on the grill. 🍖🔥

Mr. Frith’s welding students are headed to state competition and looking the part 🔥👨‍🏭

With NEW welding backpacks, shirts, welder caps, gloves, and safety glasses, they now look like true professionals and are ready to compete.

Thank you to Oil & Gas Supply for donating safety glasses and gloves. Mr. Frith will take 12 students to state competition at TSTC Abilene. Let’s go 💪

TSTC Marshall visited our CTE classes today, giving students a look at career pathways after high school 🎓🔧

Mrs. Taylor’s Education students partnered with Joe Wright Elementary 4th graders to build and code LEGO Spike “drone” projects 🤖✨

They guided students from building to running their code, creating a fun hands-on experience. Our 4th graders explored something new while our future educators stepped into the teaching role and built real connections 💡📚

Our Health Science students assisted with Mass Physicals; 425 of Jacksonville’s student athletes were able to attend and get a free physical. Great experience for our students! ⚕️🩺 📋

We are excited to have Workforce Solutions of East Texas on campus all day! 🎉

They are connecting with our Business, Marketing, Finance, and Small Engines students about careers and local job opportunities 💼🔧📊

Students also toured the mobile office unit for a hands-on look at real workforce resources 🚐✨

Ms. James welcomed guest speakers from Trane Technologies and Freedom-Fab, giving students insight into careers, skills, and opportunities in HVAC and manufacturing 💡

Mrs. Vance’s Anatomy & Physiology classes practiced the PERRLA assessment by evaluating each other’s pupils for size, equality, and reaction to light 👁️🧠
