About the provider:

Hi! I'm Olivia, also known as Ms.Olivia! I have been working with children for 8 years and have a deep passion for teaching and early childhood development. I've had the opportunity to work with children of all abilities and ages but take a special interest in infants and toddlers. Most recently, I worked as a preschool teacher at Whidbey Montessori, in Whidbey Island, WA, before my spouse and I moved here to Jacksonville. Before that, I've enjoyed positions in various schools and day cares and held many nannying positions. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Montessori teaching certificate.

I believe in nurturing a child's natural curiosity and growing sense of independence, allowing them to learn through meaningful experiences with the world around them.

About the program:

Boyden Family Day Care Home is an FCC, Montessori-inspired child care home for infants and toddlers. My program nurtures hands-on learning, independence, and respect for each child's unique path. I create a play based environment that fosters curiosity, real world connections, and confidence through meaningful routine. Activities focus on music, practical life skills, sensory exploration, early literacy, and foundational concepts in math and science.

My home is designed to give children as much autonomy as possible within a safe, supportive environment, encouraging confidence, freedom, and self direction. I also place great value on building strong, collaborative relationships with families. By working together, we create a consistent, caring environment that supports each child's development and overall well-being.

My program is located in Oakleaf, 32244. I have space for a maximum of 3 children ages 6 weeks to 24 months.
