i am stephanie adler - a classically trained artist with a master of fine arts in visual communication from the george washington university in washington, dc. i worked as a graphic designer, including the whitehouse, until asked by my sister to design her ketubah. designing a ketubah was the beginning of a fulfilling journey, sharing one of the happiest, most special times in a couple's life. it’

I’m in the process of rebuilding my brand of art, jewelry and most of all ketubot. Adlerdesigns is now Stephanie Adler dot Art. It may not be fashionable to not have a .com anymore, but .art suits me just fine.

AHAVA is Hebrew for LOVE. The arrangement of Hebrew letters signify a binding symbol of happiness. An Art Deco design plays on positive/negative space, with the stone-ground, satin or high polished surface and combined with the brilliance of pavé diamonds.

These five unique designs are from a series of eighteen panels titled “bloom.” Each represents an abstract expressionist composition of mixed media representing a journey into self-discovery: the river of consciousness with paths crossing eternally, creating the male and female form, celebrating the physical and ethereal.
