FRIENDS! Are you curious what Ms. Sarah has been up to?

The move to Jacksonville, IL has been great :) We've been overwhelmed by a very welcoming neighborhood and college community (Illinois College, where Evan works).

I reconnected with my former Musikgarten employer in Springfield, The Music Factory, and have started as the Director there. I love being active in this environment once again!

Our home in Jacksonville is about 45 minutes from Springfield, so I'm also in the process of partnering with an early childhood music studio there, Miss Polly's Music Class.

I hope you're all enjoying the fun that summer brings! Have you let your kids stay up late yet to catch fireflies? All the best to my Circle Musik friends!

Last week of our winter/spring session! (How can that be?!)

There are several opportunities to sing, dance and play at The Circle this week...

2.) Our regular class schedule Friday and Saturday mornings!

Gearing up for another fun week at The Circle!

Toddlers/Mixed Ages: We're starting class this week with a trip to the park (and hopefully we'll all be able to do that FOR REAL, too!). After introducing a new instrument, the cymbal (CD #34), we'll learn a fun song about "Jack in the Box."

How can we be at the end of March already!?

Wonder what's in store for classes this week?...

Toddlers/Mixed Ages: A new instrument sound will be showcased; the woodblock (CD #30). "Jig Jog" is always an energizing song for children in this age range, and the woodblock makes the perfect accompaniment. We'll also gallop like ponies and dance with the "Wild Horses" in our closing circle song.

Can't wait to make musik with you all this Friday and Saturday!

Sing, dance and play at The Circle this week!

Toddlers/Mixed Ages: "Wiggley Woo" is such a fun, playful song! We'll tap and wiggle to the beat using the red, ribbed, rhythm sticks. And, "This Train" will have us chugging around the room once more. Week 8 is guaranteed to be a FUN one :)

Well you MARCH, and you MARCH, and you MARCH, and you stop -no... wait! MARCH, please bring us spring weather!

I'm glad March is here! Take a look at what we're doing in this first week of the month:

Toddlers/Mixed Ages: Calling all engineers and conductors! "This Train" is pulling into the station this week. We'll introduce a new instrument sound, also, the GUIRO (get ready to WiGgLe!)

Cycles: This Saturday is the last class of our 6-week mini session. We've got a lot to cram in! We'll continue exploring different aspects of the spring season, especially "The Dandelion."

We had great fun with the HOOPS last week! Check out what's in store for this Friday and Saturday:

Mixed Ages/Toddlers: The "Jolly Sailors" will be sailing once again. Keep your eyes open for SEASHELLS! We'll also dance to "On the Waves." Have you tried that one at home? #32 on your CD.

Cycles: THINK SPRING! Gardens, rabbits, ducklings, robins... we'll explore the start of a new season (much needed, eh?!).
