📣 CACFP PROVIDERS — YOUR VOICE MATTERS!
There are currently bills being considered in Congress that could make some BIG changes to CACFP for family child care providers.
If passed, some of the proposed changes would:
🍎 Increase CACFP reimbursement by 10¢ for each meal and snack
🏠 Eliminate Tier 1 and Tier 2 for family child care homes
👧 Allow providers to receive reimbursement for meals served to their own children
⏰ Allow providers who are open more than 8 hours a day to be reimbursed for an additional meal
💰 Change how family child care home reimbursement rates are calculated
📋 Look at ways to reduce CACFP paperwork
These changes have NOT become law. They are proposals being considered by Congress.
