Although Joey is Gone
This is a Celebration of His Life

Joey is now over the rainbow bridge and with all of our family and friends. I’ll never be able to exactly put into words how special he was to me and how much joy he brought all of us. He was always a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. I’m going to miss him so much. Things won’t be the same with out him but I’m so grateful for the time we had together.

He made me laugh all the time. When I was sad, he would nuzzle his big head against me and than sneeze really loud. His little ear that stuck up while the other one stayed down. The room could be silent and than you’d hear him squeaking a ball or a toy. The big splashes he would make jumping into the pool during the summer time. Rolling on his back and making silly noises and faces.

Joey was one of a kind and I still feel him with me now. He is forever in my heart and I know he will be the first one that I see when my time comes a long time from now. Thank you for everything Joey. I love you so much. Rest peacefully. 🌈❤️ ❤️ rescue

Christmas brings such joy to so many that we sometimes forget those who are grieving for the loss of a loved one. Their grief doesn’t need to be recent; the loss can be far past, but that doesn’t mean that it is gone.

Flying lantern, floating high.
Someone is waiting.
Your candle lights the night sky.

Legend has it that on long, cold winter nights, candles would be lit, put into paper lanterns, and launched towards the heavens, lighting the night sky. The souls of those who have gone before would be there to welcome the light. Messages might be written on the lanterns for the ones that have gone before.

Bob is an old dog. I love him so much. He's a big guy and doesn't have many years left. He's been with me through in good times and bad; amazing memories. I don't like to think about it, but I know the time is coming - there's never enough time....
