Empowering you to grow in self-awareness and live aligned with your worth & authenticity 🌿

If we really got honest about what energizes us and what depletes us, then had the courage to commit to honoring it, just imagine how much more satisfying our lives would be.

Thank you for the inspiration ✨

When things feel “off” it can be difficult to figure out why, what is imbalanced, and how to move forward.

By using the Wheel of Life exercise (Meyer, 1960s), you can better visualize your areas of flourishing and areas that need attention. Combine this exercise with reflection and you’ve got a much clearer starting point to guide the rest of your work toward finding more life satisfaction, fulfillment, and balance.

Whether you’re being hard on yourself for how far you “aren’t” so far in 2023 or if you simply appreciate a lil mid-year reflection…. This one’s for you. 🫶🏼

Feeling inspired by one of ’s posts where she reflects on all the hard questions she’s pondering like “what should I be doing?” or “what direction is my life heading?” all to boil it down to a simplified “what matters right now?” I usually live for these big life questions but right now they feel particularly overwhelming.

That’s all we have to ask right now. I’ve been a little absent lately, asking myself “how do I find stillness in the chaos?” And I keep coming back to a simple nudge towards the present moment. It’s cheesy as hell, but it’s true. We have everything we need here and now.

So, what matters right now? As I’m dealing with the chaos of loss, adulthood, burnout, and pressures of showing up in one piece? Right now, what matters is opening up my journal. Enjoying the coziness of a fresh hotel bed. Following the urge to write and share this. And listening to the still, small internal knowing that right now is enough.

Dear friend, what matters right now?

A couple of weeks ago I shared about the Triads aka Centers of Intelligence. Here’s a breakdown and closer look into how each of the Head Center types experience being in the Head.

You’ll notice they all have a connection to ✨fear✨, which is what we call their “emotional struggle” in the Enneagram world. By witnessing fear as an indication of imbalance (rather than getting swept up in the anxiety and spiraling), they can use it to guide them to greater wholeness.

If you’re a Type 5, 6, or 7 how does this land with you? What is your experience like as a Head type?

A couple of weeks ago I shared about the Triads aka Centers of Intelligence. Here’s a breakdown and closer look into how each of the Heart Center types experience being in the Heart.

You’ll notice they all have a connection to ✨shame + hostility✨, which is what we call their “emotional struggle” in the Enneagram world. By witnessing shame and hostility as an indication of imbalance (rather than hustling to maintain their desired identity or giving in to people-pleasing), they can use it to guide them to greater wholeness.

If you’re a Type 2, 3, or 4 how does this land with you? What is your experience like as a Heart type?

A couple of weeks ago I shared about the Triads aka Centers of Intelligence. Here’s a breakdown and closer look into how each of the Body Center types experience being in the Body.

You’ll notice they all have a connection to ✨anger✨, which is what we call their “emotional struggle” in the Enneagram world. By witnessing anger as an indication of imbalance (rather than acting out or repressing it), they can use it to guide them to greater wholeness.

If you’re a Type 8, 9, or 1, how does this land with you? What is your experience like as a Body type?

Let’s talk about one of my favorite pillars of the Enneagram: Triads aka Centers of Intelligence 💡

How are the Centers helpful? They help us identify the source of our imbalance, awaken us to our default setting, and point us in the direction of restoration.

Mind, body, soul/heart—a relatively simple and “common” understanding of what makes us human. But when lived out, this simple concept of balancing all 3 can lead to deeeep transformation and growth.

Keep scrolling to the end for a coaching tip / reflection question to use the Centers in your own growth journey 🌿

What’s your dominant Center? Which Center is least developed? How does this show up for you?

Common KNOWLEDGE vs common PRACTICE ✨

A few weeks ago, I heard on ’s We Can Do Hard Things podcast, explain how there’s so much “common knowledge” but so little “common practice” when it comes to the things that make us happier and more fulfilled. I’ve been marinating on that for weeks.

How many of us ~know~ that meditating/exercising/connecting with friends/setting boundaries/*insert self-care practice here* has been scientifically proven to improve our wellbeing? Probably ALL of us.

But how many of us actually do those things regularly?

We can intellectualize all we want, but ACTION is what makes the difference. And boy, is that a hard pill to swallow as a Withdrawn type that represses the Body center the most.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen accountability to others to be one of the best ways to actualize my common knowledge into common practice. For the next couple of weeks, I encourage you to identify one practice you want to be accountable for (perhaps a practice you’ve been meaning to get to “one day”) and one person who will hold you accountable.

My practice has been meditation/embodiment work and my accountability partner is my therapist. (Side note: one of my favorite things about working with a therapist and/or coach is this accountability piece because it helps me make *progress*!)

What will be your practice and who will be your accountability partner? Let me know in the comments and let’s check back in a couple weeks to see if we’re a little better off because of it. Who’s with me? 👇🏼🤍
