Meet ATP Alumna and United Airlines First Officer Maggie, and learn about her background and why she chose ATP:

"I’m currently a 737 First Officer at United Airlines. After a few months of instructing for ATP, I was hired by Contour Airlines as a First Officer. About a year later, after reaching 1,500 hours, I upgraded to Captain and spent a little over a year in the left seat before being hired at United.

My dad, who was also an airline pilot, inspired me to start flight training during my freshman year of college. After earning my Private Pilot License, I transitioned to ATP because I wanted the fastest path to the airlines. ATP helped me earn five ratings in one summer between my junior and senior year, and the pace and quality of instruction allowed me to finish my degree and step directly into a job at Contour after graduation."

"I started working as a flight attendant with Delta in 2017 right after college. My mom is a flight attendant, which is what inspired me! I earned my private pilot certificate at a mom and pop flight school while still flying the line, and I chose ATP after successfully being accepted to the Propel Company Path Program through Delta.

From starting ATP, to earning my wings as an Endeavor First Officer in just over 2 years, I can't even believe the magnitude of this accomplishment. I know this timeline wouldn't have been possible at any other flight school, and I am very grateful for all of the opportunities ATP has given me."

"I attended the University of Georgia, where I was first introduced to aviation through my girlfriend, who inspired me to start flying. She had a Cessna 150 at Athens/Ben Epps Airport, which I learned to fly in and earned my private pilots license.

After graduating, I pursued a sales career in Dallas, Texas, but continued flying on the side and realized aviation was where my true passion was. I chose ATP Flight School for its fast, structured path to earning my ratings, completing the program in six months and then instructing with ATP."
