I’ve seen other posts where I loved ones left us a pet. This cutie pie dog reminds me of my son as a boy: she lights up every room, smiles all the time, has lots of positive energy, loves being active, always ready to go outside for fun, she’s loving, and loves to eat and sleep :) Glad to have her as part of the heal and 💝. 🐾💕

….A great book by A good word choice can say a paragraph of description. “Etymology of Vilomah.
Vilomah is a Sanskrit word, from the same language that gave us the word "widow," which means "empty." Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages in the world, sating back to about 400 BC. Today, Sanskrit is one of the official languages in India, but it is only used for religious purposes. Vilomah means "against a natural order." Professor Holloway began using the term when she discovered there was no English word that gave meaning to a parent whose child had died.” ~Tom May.

“And regardless of how tranquilly a loved one leaves this world, the depth of grief that follows is still unimaginable. “His absence is total,” is how she strikingly describes the aftermath of Isaac’s death; “where there was him, there is nothing.”’

The. Simple. Truth. Thanks

Grief makes you question what you thought you knew. A belief system can bring comfort 😇 but sometimes during grief they no longer ring true.

This works so well when in grief and with the (ugh!) news. “With everything going on, keeping your world small is some solid advice. Focus on one day at a time, only focus on what you can control for today, focus on taking care of yourself and your loved ones for today, and push the rest to the side. If you can't do anything about it today, push it to the side.” Travis Merritt, BS, CPT, Owner of Rowlett Transformation Center in Rowlett, TX.
