Old Bill’s fundraising season is upon us and Elevate Math WY would love your support!

In our first year of programming, Elevate Math WY served more than 108 TCSD students and provided over 1,400 hours of FREE student and community math programming.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 34 volunteers, and our community partners, we made out-of-school math support more accessible to students and families across our community.

The results are encouraging: student participants and their parents reported greater confidence, stronger math skills, more positive attitudes toward school, and increased effort and practice in math at home.

Community support is what makes this all possible, and right now is one of the best times to give! Donations made through Old Bill’s are matched through September 18th, increasing the impact of every contribution.

🏔️ 2025–2026 Academic Year Impact Summary 🏔️

Since launching our FREE math programs for TCSD students last October, here’s what your support made possible:

📊 8 free community math programs
🧑‍🧑‍🧒 108 student participants
⏰ 1,400+ student and community hours of free math programming
✏️ 321 hours of in-class support at JHMS & JHHS
➕238 hours of group math support and enrichment for elementary and JHMS students
🤝 197 hours of 1-on-1 tutoring
🧮 55 Pre-K Number Sense Kits delivered to local families

The best part? Students reported real gains in math confidence, skills, and overall success.

When we asked one student their favorite part of tutoring, they wrote a single word: “EVERYTHING.” ❤️

None of this would have happened without our incredible community: 34 volunteers, 12 tutors, 24 donors, and 4 community partners showed up to support TCSD students in their math journey.

Registration for our 3rd/4th Grade Math Enrichment Intensive is OPEN! This workshop is intended for TCSD 3rd and 4th graders who are performing in math at an advanced level and desire challenge and extension work. Registration for our free, 5th Grade "Fractions Boot Camp" is open! Confidence with fractions leads the way to mastery of algebra. If your 5th grader needs some extra practice with core fractions concepts before entering middle school, then this workshop is for them!

The details:

WHAT: Fractions "Boot Camp"
WHERE: Teton County Library - Ordway Auditorium
WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 10-March 19, 3:45-4:45PM
WHO: TCSD 5th Graders needing additional support with fractions
COST: FREE!

Space is limited. Please register by Thursday, February 5th. All parents will be notified of acceptance into the program or placement on the waitlist by Friday, February 6th.

Are you someone that appreciates math and wants to help kids? Volunteer with us!

Elevate Math WY needs volunteers for our after school programming at Jackson Elementary School this Fall. The program will run on Wednesday and Thursday from October 8th through December 18th. Volunteers can help just one day or both!

Volunteers will be paired with elementary students to practice core math concepts and develop number sense through fun games. You do NOT need to be a math expert to volunteer.

Elevate Math Wyoming is a new educational organization in Teton County and we are thrilled to be included in Old Bill's Fun Run this year! Elevate Math WY is working to ease access to math support and enrichment through:

➕ robust elementary programming aimed at strengthening math foundations,

➖ free, all-levels math support and enrichment for Teton County public school students in need,

➗ skilled, in-class support for TCSD's highest-needs middle and high school math classrooms, and

✖️ the creation of a community-wide math support network anchored in mentorship and the distribution of research-based resources.
