🐝💚 **Green Elementary PBIS Kick-Off!** 💚🐝

The Hive is Alive, and we’re kicking off the school year with a strong focus on **ATTENDANCE, POSITIVE BEHAVIOR, and STUDENT SUCCESS!** 🎉

Our students came together for our PBIS Kick-Off Assembly to learn and review our schoolwide expectations: **Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn!**

🌟 **Did you know students can earn 7 PBIS points every day?**
Students have the opportunity to earn **7 points simply by being at school and demonstrating positive behavior.** That means **35 points each week** when students attend school and make positive choices!

Every day at school matters. **Being present gives students the opportunity to learn, grow, build relationships, and earn rewards for making great choices.**

Parents, help your child make attendance and positive behavior a priority by encouraging them to:

Thank you to all of our amazing parents who joined us for **Title I Back to School Night!** Your partnership and support help make Green Elementary a place where every student can thrive.

We’re also excited about the incredible **clubs and enrichment opportunities** ahead! 🎨🎭🎶 Our clubs will give students opportunities to explore, create, and integrate the **arts into their learning** while discovering new talents and passions.

🎉 It’s officially the first day back, Green Elementary Team—💚

But the work didn’t just start this week in our professional development sessions
—our dedicated educators have been investing all summer long! From attending impactful conference sessions in Tupelo at to pouring into our youngest learners during Kindergarten Academy, their commitment to growth and student success has been unwavering.

Kindergarten Academy is a special program designed to help our incoming kindergarten students transition smoothly into school. It gave them an early opportunity to become familiar with routines, build confidence, and develop foundational skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

We are proud of the passion, preparation, and heart our Green Elementary team brings. Here’s to an amazing 2026–2027 school year! 🌟

🐝💚 JPS Beautification Day at Green Elementary! 💚🐝
The Hive is Alive at Green Elementary! Our amazing staff came together for JPS Beautification Day to prepare our school for an incredible new school year. Classrooms are coming to life, hallways are shining, and every detail is being thoughtfully prepared to welcome our Hornets back home.

This year's theme, "The Hive is Alive," reminds us that every Hornet has an important role in creating a thriving, supportive, and successful school community. We can't wait to fill these classrooms with learning, laughter, teamwork, and growth!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our campus beautiful and ready for our students. The countdown to an amazing school year has officially begun!
