Blue + Yellow = Awareness, kindness, and inclusion. 💙💛
Today we celebrated Down Syndrome Awareness Day by wearing blue and yellow and reminding our students that every person is unique, important, and valued.
We love celebrating the differences that make our school so special.

Last week at Nova, we had so much fun celebrating Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Week! Our classrooms were filled with stories, laughter, and lots of silly outfits as we explored the joy of reading together. From Green Eggs and Ham to celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday, fun was had by all!
📚 Our themed days included:
🧦 Mismatched Socks Monday – Students wore their craziest or mismatched socks with a green shirt to kick off the week.
🎩 Top Hat Tuesday – Everyone showed off their favorite hats in honor of the Cat in the Hat.
🤪 Wacky Wednesday – Students dressed in silly, mismatched outfits like stripes with polka dots or shirts worn backwards.
🔴🔵 Thing Thursday – We dressed in red and blue to look like Thing 1 and Thing 2.
😴 Fun Friday – Students wore their pajamas with tennis shoes for a cozy day of reading.
Thank you to our families for helping make the week so special. We loved seeing the creativity and excitement as our students celebrated the magic of books! 📚✨

Sensory fun in the classroom! Today our students practiced drawing shapes and writing letters and numbers while exploring shaving cream. Hands-on activities like this help build fine motor skills, encourage creativity, and make learning extra exciting.
