Tuesday, April 28, is an 80% Professional Development Day for teachers to learn tips and resources that will better support scholars.

Here are dismissal times:

Elementary Schools: 1:15 p.m.
Middle Schools: 1:50 p.m.
High Schools: 2:35 p.m.

Pecan Park Elementary School early registration is now open for April 20, 2026. Join us at 415 Claiborne Avenue and be sure to bring your ID, birth certificate, immunization record, and 2 proofs of residence to complete registration. 📚❤️ Pecan Park Elementary is celebrating Read Across America Spirit Week 2026! ❤️📚

Join us March 2–March 6 as we bring our favorite stories to life with a week full of fun, reading, and school spirit! 🎩🧦🐟✨

From crazy socks and career day to red & blue outfits and cozy pajamas, we can’t wait to see our students show their creativity and love for reading!

Our scholars had the incredible opportunity to engage with award-winning author Stefanie Foster Brown, as she shared her beautiful book, My Heart Speaks of Kriolu. Through language, culture, and storytelling, our scholars learned the power of embracing who they are and honoring their heritage.

We are also grateful for her partnership with the Save the Music Foundation, which continues to support creativity and arts education for young learners. 🎶❤️

Thursday, February 12, 2026, Pecan Park celebrated the first teachers in our scholars’ lives their moms. 💖 Thank you for joining us for Muffins with Mom!”

There will be no school on Friday, February 13. It's Professional Development Day for teachers and staff, focused on learning and growth to better support our scholars.
