Sign up for the Magnificent Thing Competition on February 3rd at the Hattiesburg Train Depot! The competition will begin at 9 AM, and all high school students are invited to participate. Teams of four students will build their most magnificent creation from a box of mystery supplies. Each member of the winning team will take home a 3D printer!!
To register or for more information send your school name and team member names to [email protected]. There is a $10 entrance fee per student. Students may bring a lunch or buy one at the event.

“There’s 1,100 unfilled coding jobs in Mississippi right now. Entry level salary around $50,000. Average salary is around $100,000,” Co-founder of Mississippi Coding Academies, Rich Sun said.
In addition to the inaugural class going on now in Jackson, a new class is beginning right now in , two more classes begin in June 2018, and four in June 2019.
