These Juniors and Seniors, along with their coaches, have spent the past 30+ hours developing a concept, tool, product, service, or idea aligned with this year’s Hub City Innovation Cup theme. 🚀

Now, they’re ready to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges! We can’t wait to see what they’ve created! 💜

🎓 College is closer than you think!

Many of our Juniors and Seniors had the opportunity to attend the Jackson Area-Wide College Fair at Union University today.

We’re grateful to the regional colleges and universities who were represented and helped our students explore their options for life after JASA! 🚀💜

🇺🇸 Coach Johnson received a special surprise today!

Captain Jake C. Feyedelem, Executive Officer, Nashville Recruiting Station, and a fellow Marine presented Coach J. with a framed certificate recognizing his completion of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Educator’s Workshop this summer.

The workshop gives educators an inside look at Marine Corps recruiting and training and provides valuable insight they can bring back to their students. We’re proud to celebrate this accomplishment with Coach Johnson! 🦅🚀

We’re proud to shine the spotlight on another JASA student who is making the most of every opportunity!

Destiny Avila recently competed in the Prepared Speaking Contest at the TN State Fair and is involved in Leadership University, the Mayor’s Youth Council, FFA, GreenPower USA, and our high school robotics team.

On top of all that, she’s doing an excellent job with her attendance and grades! Keep shining, Destiny!
