As we're almost to Spring Break, we wanted to provide a couple updates.
First, as of today (3/18/2020), there are no confirmed cases in Madison County (or at Union).
Second, we are still operating under the procedures that Dr. Oliver laid out in his March 12 email. Classes have moved online until April 13th and the residence halls have not closed.
Third, any changes to those procedures will be communicated via email to students' Union email address. (There are no current plans to change them, but if that decision is made, it will be communicated via Union email.)
Fourth, if you are a residential student, please be sure to communicate with your RA if you are staying on campus or off campus and if/when that status changes so we have an accurate head count.
Fifth, please follow Union Residence Life on Instagram - while official communication will go out via email, we will use Instagram Stories to provide reminders, tips, fun activities, and other opportunities to connect while we are limiting in-person interactions (https://www.instagram.com/uu_reslife/)
Finally, if you are still on campus we hope you will join us out your door or window at 9pm tonight for Vespers (evening worship) where we will sing "It Is Well With My Soul," "The Solid Rock," and the Doxology. Last nights Doxology in the Grace Quad is attached.
