Yesterday, every child in grades K-12 took a Back to School picture. These prints will be available for purchase. You can get the print on high quality photo paper printed in-house by our students or you can upgrade to also receive a magnetic sleeve frame with your print to hang on your fridge!

These order forms were sent home with some classes today and the rest will be coming home on Monday. Please return to your child’s classroom teacher with payment if you would like this sweet reminder of the start of the 26-27 school year! 🐯🐯

We're excited to welcome new and returning volunteers for the upcoming school year! Before you can volunteer, please complete the 3-step volunteer process:

✅ 1. Attend the required in-school volunteer training
This annual training is required for all volunteers.
✅ 2. Complete your CHFS Central Registry Check
This will be completed on-site during the in-school training. Please bring a valid photo ID and $10 payment for the CHFS fee.
✅ 3. Complete your Fingerprint Background Check

💳 The fingerprint background check fee is paid by you at the time of your appointment. Appointments are online scheduling only, and once your fingerprints are processed, your results will automatically be sent to the Jackson City School Central Office.

If you have a completed fingerprint background check dated January 1, 2024, or later, you do not need another fingerprint check. However, you must still attend one in-school training session and complete the CHFS Central Registry Check.

The Jackson City SBDM is now accepting parent nominations. To nominate a parent please fill out the following link. Nominations will run until Monday August 3rd at 3pm.

Voting will take place at open house at the FRYSC table.

The purpose of the Jackson City School Site-Based Decision-Making (SBDM) Council is to address the academic, social and emotional needs of our students in order to set school policy that will enhance student achievement and help each student meet the goals established by the school council, consistent with state law. The school council will assess, monitor, and evaluate the policies and programs of Jackson City School.

The Middle School supply list is here!

Please note that if you are able all of our teachers have requested wishlist items in bold at the bottom. These are items that our teachers go through very quickly in the classroom that are not required but are very appreciated.

Elementary School Supply lists are ready! Please see below for a list of grades completed so far. I will update as the others are available.

Please note that all of our teachers have asked for those "extra items" including Clorox wipes, tissues, band-aids, paper towels, extra pencils, dry erases markers, & packaged snacks/drink for student who may not have one if your school shopping budget allows.

As your FRYSC I highly recommend sending younger students a change of clothes in their backpack & letting their teacher know incase of accidents. While I try to always have the FRYSC stocked there are times where we are scrambling to put something together so any help is greatly appreciated.

We are looking forward to a great year with your students, thank you for trusting us with them.
