Brad attended the NYS basic operator course held by Ithaca SWAT in 2016 with several of our members. Despite the grueling three-week, 12-hour daily schedule, he remained a joy to be around. Please support Brad in this difficult time.

Last Friday we said our goodbyes to one of the greatest operators to have been apart of Ithaca SWAT and now Ithaca-Tompkins SRT. Jake taught many of us through his time on the team and we are forever grateful for his knowledge and sacrifice. We wish you the best in your retirement, Commander!!!

Our team members enjoy our time at Community Events, especially our annual visit to the GIAC Summer Campers! Kids (and some adults) got a chance to tour the command post, write on the white board walls, ask questions and check out some of the equipment and protective gear we use to keep everyone as safe as possible. We look forward to next year and we will try to have some doughnuts on hand next time!

One of our favorite community events was back yesterday, as members of the Ithaca-Tompkins S.R.T. helped bring Santa into town this weekend at Center Ithaca! Santa made it down the building in time to meet with all the kids eager to speak with him! Special thanks to all that came out to celebrate the season!
