Finger Lakes Homeschool

We’d love to invite you to learn more about our growing Christian homeschool co-op, a space where families of all faiths can come together to support each other, build friendships, and create meaningful learning experiences for our kids. Whether you're just starting out or have been homeschooling for years, there’s a place for you here.

This fall, we’re dreaming up a beautiful mix of classes inspired by Charlotte Mason, Montessori and Waldorf approaches. Gentle, hands-on, and full of wonder. Think: all-ages choir, lyric dance, cooking, nature watercoloring, chess club, woodworking, dramatic arts, an entrepreneur seminar for older kids and literacy for littles. Classes will depend on interest and what families want to offer so there’s room to shape the experience together.

We welcome all ages, but we’re especially hoping to add more 4th grade and up students to help balance our group and create more peer connections for older kids.

We’re also excited to share we’re moving to The West Danby Baptist Church this fall which has a beautiful outdoor space and a gym, perfect for nature walks, active play, and gathering as a community.

Do you have a teen who would like a reason to get dressed up and dance in a safe, well-chaperoned environment? Our sister co-op in Cortland puts this on each year and does a wonderful job!

We know some of you missed yesterday’s conference. We know you wish you’d known sooner so you could have made plans to be with us. So we’re letting you know now to plan for next year! We’re taking a break from planning for a little bit but look for the event in the next few months and mark your calendar now! September McCarthy

We are over the moon about the participation and enthusiasm all of you brought to our inaugural homeschool conference yesterday. Thank you for coming and for making it such a special day!! We loved seeing the many generations and enjoyed the sound of babies!
