Meet the fall athletes at "Meet the Patriots" Monday, August 17th from 6:15PM-7:15PM at the Westwood Football Field! Girly Pop will be serving up their signature dirty sodas with 10% of proceeds donated back to the Booster Club, and several generous local businesses have donated gift cards for a raffle drawing!

Bjork & Zhulkie Community Backpack Giveaway!
Helping Students Start the School Year Strong!

Join us for our community backpack giveaway at Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 2:00pm – 6:30pm.

What’s Available:
• 72 Free backpacks for students K – 4th Grade
• Each backpack will contain folders, crayons, colored pencils, pencils, erasers, a notebook, and glue sticks

Backpacks will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

We believe every child deserves the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Please help us spread the word by sharing this event with friends, neighbors, and families who may benefit.

Together, we’re building a stronger community – one student at a time. We look forward to seeing you there.

• Youngers Camp (Ages 9–11): July 20–24
• Olders Camp (Ages 12–14): July 27–31

What is Camp New Day U.P.? A FREE, week-long summer camp experience for youth ages 9–14 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula who have been impacted by the incarceration of a parent or close family member at any point in their lives.
