Our Newman Irving Warriors took the stage and SHINED at this year’s Talent Show! From singing and acting to creativity confidence, our students showcased the many gifts and talents that make our school community so special. We are proud to provide opportunities for our Warriors to express themselves, build confidence, and support one another in and out of the classroom.

A huge thank you to our students, staff, and families who helped make this event a success. The future is bright at Newman Irving!

Wouldn’t be Field Day without the classic tug- of-war.

Last week we celebrated the woman who holds it all together — our incredible Principal, Mrs. Durling. One by one, our Warriors walked up and handed her something they made just for her — a poem, a drawing, a piece of their heart. The look on her face said everything words couldn't.

Mrs. Durling shows up for every single student, every single day — with grace, with strength, and with a love for this school that you can feel the moment you walk through our doors. She doesn't just run Newman International Academy. She pours LIFE into it.
We ended the moment the Newman way — a dance party, big smiles, and all the love in the world.

Mrs. Durling — we see you. We appreciate you. And we are SO grateful you are OUR principal.

A great teacher doesn't just teach a subject, they teach a child who they can become.

This week our Newman Warriors went on a mission to find the teacher who lights them up, lifts them up, and never lets them give up. The cards were drawn. The halls were walked. And the hugs that followed? Priceless.

Every week, our Newman Warriors come together for our POWWOW and this week did not disappoint. Mrs. April led a powerful conversation about punctuality, reminding our students that being on time isn't just about the clock but also about character, respect, and the habits that build a better future.

We wrapped up the morning, the NIAI way of course, with a dance party with all the hype and energy our Warriors needed heading into Math STAAR week! Stars shine brightest under pressure and our Warriors are ready to GLOW.
