An interesting bit of history I didn’t know about. I knew there were a lot of Syrians who came to Haiti, but not European Jews.

Fundraising for our school drive!!!

Empathy+action=compassion! Many of you have asked me how you could support those in Haiti, who have loss everything in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. Hope House Haiti is a Haitian organization ran by Haitians with support from churches in the US and UK. They are currently providing emergency relief to the victims of the hurricane. The director, Yvrose, is a friend of mine whom I trust and admire greatly. No donation is too small as thousands have been displaced and left with nothing!!

I am so sadden heavy hearted to hear of the devastation Haiti is facing once more. The death toll from Hurricane Matthew is at 1,000 souls and rising, with thousands more left destitute. Some parts of the country are inaccessible by land and have not received much needed aid. Furthermore, Haiti is also facing a cholera crisis, which has started to take lives. Please continue to keep Haiti in your thoughts and prayers.
