Our Spring 2026 fundraiser ends in ONE week! Last year's donations helped us complete our violin and viola instrument locker set, pictured in this post. This year, we are raising money to purchase a cello storage rack for our five new cellos as well as help pay for our students' spring trip to Six Flags. The Travis MS Orchestra & Mariachi is truly appreciative of your help, and every little bit counts!

You will hear the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake," two versions of Carol of the Bells (featuring two other holiday favorites) and our one-of-a-kind Mariachi Alazán! You will also get to experience the joy of our Beginner Orchestra performing for the very first time!

The Travis Middle School Mariachi Club was established as an after-school program in the Spring of 2017. This was their first ever performance, comprised of beginner orchestra and band students (most of whom were 6th graders) and put together after only one month of practices.
The first five weeks of practices and rehearsals we had learning "De Colores" for the first ever Travis mariachi club!
