Leadership Irving-Las Colinas has the following program goals:
-- Provide a systematic program to enhance awareness of community opportunities, challenges, and resources
-- Open lines of communication and strengthen existing relationships with participants from various segments of the community and with community leaders
-- Encourage participants to broaden their involvement in community affairs

On Friday, our class spent the day learning about Business and Economic Development in Irving-Las Colinas with the Irving Economic Development Partnership. The class heard from local business leaders about their commitment to the area, toured available properties and got a glimpse at a QTS’ new expansion.
Tomorrow our class of 2020 will get to hear from our city's first responders during their Emergency Preparedness class day! They'll meet with the Irving Police Department and partake in a training exercise with the Irving Fire Department.
