Mary Lewallen “Mrs. Le” for IISD School Board- Place 2

I am not a politician. I am part of this community, and I care!

I’m Mary Lewallen, known by many students and families as Mrs. Le, and I am running for Place 2 on the Irving ISD School Board.

Since 2015, I have worked inside Irving ISD in many different roles. I have not sat back and simply observed the challenges facing our district or just pointed out problems. I have worked side-by-side with principals, teachers, students, and families to find real solutions that help move our schools forward.

I know firsthand what our classrooms need because I have lived it every day. What Irving is missing is the teacher’s perspective someone who understands the daily realities of our students, staff, and families.

Now, I am ready to serve at a higher level and use my experience to help create lasting, district-wide impact. I will stand up for what is right, support our teachers, fight for student success, and work to ensure every child in Irving ISD has the opportunity to thrive.

I’m not just talking about change I’ve already been part of the solutions.
