OpenAI’s hardware chief (24 years at Apple) allegedly asked job candidates to bring actual Apple parts, batteries, logic boards, to interviews for “show and tell.”

Apple says OpenAI even circulated an offboarding checklist teaching new hires how to dodge Apple’s exit security.

Over 400 former Apple employees now work at OpenAI.

Here’s the part nobody’s talking about: these two are still partners. ChatGPT is integrated into the iPhone right now. And this lands months before OpenAI’s expected IPO and its first device launch.

The AI hardware race isn’t coming. It’s here, and it’s getting ugly.

→ Drop in a year of job data and ask where you’re losing margin
→ Have it rewrite your entire estimate follow-up sequence
→ Feed it your top competitor’s website and ask how to beat them locally
→ Build the SOP doc your ops manager keeps promising
