When you feel guilty it is because you feel as though you have done something wrong or that you have violated one of your own standards.
I want to remind you that putting yourself first is the best thing you can do for the people you love.
You can't give what you don't have and if you are always worrying that you are doing the "right" thing for others, you will never be able to live a truly authentic and fulfilling life.
I know it can be hard but today I want you to put yourself first and do what is best for you...without guilt!

Just like you can't see the bottom of the lake through muddy water, you can't access the parts of your mind that control logic and reason if you are in a "fight or flight" state.
Before you can begin to work on any problem and come up with a solution, you need to calm your mind.

Does it mean to say and do exactly what you think and feel all the time?
To speak your “truth”?
But what if your truth isn’t appropriate to speak?
Or what if your truth is in direct conflict with getting your needs met?
Or what if you have conflicting thoughts and feelings? Which one is the real you?
