School 45 would like to honor our great mom's caregivers,grandmother, aunt and community leader,who helped shape the lives for our students. There will be refreshments, raffle giveaways , and a guest speaker. This event is for our School 45 students only. Due to capacity I asked that one adult per family.  we are looking forward to making memories with our families on this special occasion.

Our Pre-K team is truly glowing and growing as we deepen our work with Visible Learning in early childhood. Through strong collaboration, we are intentionally reflecting on our practices and digging deeper into the power of purposeful play. Together, we are designing meaningful learning experiences that make thinking visible for our youngest learners. By embedding clear learning intentions and success criteria into our daily routines, we are helping students understand the “why” behind their learning, build independence, and take pride in their growth. Mary McLeod Bethune School No. 45 is proud to invite family and community partners to our Black History Month Live Gallery Walk on Wednesday , February 25th at 1:00 PM.

This special event is proudly sponsored by the Center for Youth.

Join us as we travel back in time and bring history to life! During this interactive walk-through experience, students will portray famous African American kings and queens, inventors, singers, and many other influential figures who paved the way for us today. Each presentation highlights the strength, creativity, and impact of African American leaders throughout history.

Your presence would mean so much to our students and school community as we celebrate Black excellence, culture, and legacy together.
